Student Paper Competition

2008 RFIC Symposium Student Paper Contest

Each year, RFIC Symposium holds a student paper contest. The criteria for student papers are listed in the Call for Paper. After the paper review process is completed, each technical program subcommittee recommends a maximum of two student papers as the finalists. A student paper contest committee consisting of one representative from each subcommittee is then formed to review all the finalists. Three Best Student Papers are chosen to receive the awards in the RFIC Plenary Session. This year, the RFIC Plenary Session will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) Room A411 at 5:30PM on Sunday, June 15, preceding the RFIC Reception.

This year, a total of 17 finalists were recommended by the technical program committee:

Congratulations to the 17 finalists! The three finalists of the 2008 Best Student Paper Awards will be announced in Atlanta at the RFIC Symposium. The awards ceremony will take place at the beginning of the RFIC Plenary Session which will start at 5:30pm on Sunday, June 15 2008. Each winner will receive a plaque and a check. I encourage all the finalists and their advisors to share this exciting moment made possible by all of your hard work .

The committee thanks all the student authors for your contributions. We look forward for more students participating in this contest in the future RFIC Symposia.
