Abstract:
Fully integrated 60 GHz MMICs were successfully built by PHEMT/ MHEMT technologies while advanced CMOS and SiGe HBT technologies have also shown good promise on 60 GHz MMICs. GaAs technology was not fairly invested at the beginning of RFIC revolution even though it is known to have better intrinsic properties. Thus, the panel will examine which technology will be the winner at the millimeter-wave regime and whether GaAs can come back at the microwave regime. |
